Working Together to Resolve Conflict

On 14 November 2009 the IfT lead an all-day workshop for 30 candidates for confirmation and four priests from evangelical churches in the city of Winnenden. The workshop took place in the Luther building in Esslingen. Split into three groups, the teens rotated through three „learning circles“ on the topics „understanding and being understood,“ „the escalation of conflict,“ and „dealing with violence.“ By way of interactive teaching methods, including photo stories, film, and games, the participants were able to gain insight into the different aspects of conflict and conflict resolution.
